Don't expect luxury. This is an unashamedly 2-3 star establishment that delivers unrenovated old world charm, a comfy bed, excellent shower and a great location. Great value with cereal & toast thrown in for brekky if you want it. 5 minute walk to an amazing collection of restaurants in North Adelaide and 20 minute walk (or free city bus ride) to the CBD. Friendly hosts and on-site parking are a bonus.

So if you want free parking, breakfast, Internet, next to a convenient free bus service this place is for you .
It's not a Hilton and if that's you benchmark stay away. It's a comfortable clean reasonable priced value option for those on a budjet.

Loved this place! Close to great eateries and the heart of Adelaide yet very reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and tidy. Enjoyed staying in a bit of history :) it is well located for sight seeing and we found walking everywhere the best experience.

We stay here each time we visit Adelaide. It's only 5 minutes from the CBD by bicycle, and a 5 minute walk to O'Connell Streets many pubs and restaurants.
Rooms are small and simple, but for what they charge, it is value for money.
The breakfast is basic and adequate, with a choice of juices, choice of cereals, tinned peaches, choice of bread for toast, jams etc, and tea & coffee (machine, which is a welcome new addition). If I was to be picky, it would be for the lack of fresh fruit, say a fruit salad, to make breakfast a healthier meal.
Staff are friendly and helpful, and quite accommodating in allowing us to store our bicycles in our room.
If you're after budget accommodation this is hard to beat.
