I arrived early but greeted the nice gentleman at the reception desk, he helped to put my luggage aside and showed me the way to the city centre.
Checked in later in the afternoon, got a room on level 4 away from the main street, there's no noise but I guess the view to the main street should be better. The room was old but tidy, the bathroom was recently refurbished. It lacks an in-room safe, if you need one you many have to reconsider.
The buffet breakfast was adequate, modest selection of hot and cold dishes. There will be something that will suit, unless you hate breakfast.
Only downside is the deadlock of my room is broken, as well as the desk light was not working. I didn't bother to complain so it wasn't housekeeping's fault.
The hotel is located about 10 minutes comfortable walk from the CBD.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay, and really enjoyed the service during check-in, check-out and at the buffet breakfast.More
