This hotel is just pure value for money! Have you ever come across a hotel that you paid for a queen/king sized bed for 2 BUT with a room as huge as a suite? This hotel fits that criteria. Upon arriving @ the hotel, the lobby is located at the back of the main road. That confused me and probably other tourists that are arriving there via Tram or Bus as we could be baffled of the location of the lobby. The front desk is very polite and friendly. One thing some people complain is that the hotel hallway to your room is not AC-ed but to be honest, who is going to stay at the hallway? It maybe hot but you are going to be there for only that few minutes to get into your room. Upon entering your room, you are greeted with a hallway(bathroom is there) to the living room. The living room is just so huge that they had a round table and 4 chairs + 3 sofa chairs there and the room is still feels so empty. There is a sliding door to your bedroom so it's kind of cool to have a room inside a room. This is my review.

Hotel location : 8/10 = lobby is located weirdly behind the main road.
Hotel room : 8/10
Furniture : 6/10 = especially the chairs and sofas where they are outdated and looks dirty and torn.
Bedroom : 8/10 = not bad with the big mirror with a balcony.
Kitchen : 9/10 = everything is there for you to use. There is also a dish washer there too!
Bathroom : 8/10 = Bathtub but will be not disabled friendly. Big bathroom as well.
Facilities : 9/10 = Did not use them much but was pretty happy their facilities services.
Value for money : 8/10 = YES if you feel that you want to stay in a big room.

A word to the manager.
I dislike the position of the air conditioner. Why is the AC facing away from the bedroom? I had a decent stay of 4 nights there without worrying of getting hot but I would like to know why is that so. One more is to have signs that points your hotel lobby at the back of the main road as it may just confuse some to not find your lobby via public transport.

Room tip: Value for big room, downside at furniture

My best friend and I were here for 6 nights on a trip around Australia...
overall it's a really nice hotel... however, food stops really early! So a bit inconvenient if you're planning on a late dinner or come back later than 8pm from a day out??
Also - our maid was really friendly but didn't do the best job.
The sheets weren't changed during the entire duration of our stay. She didn't wash the cups that we'd used for making tea... she didn't even wipe down the surfaces... just bog standard - making the beds which we pretty much did every day anyway... and changing the towels.
It's also quite a walk from the main strip which was a pain for us having to get ubers on the evenings rather than just walking back.
But lovely staff and nice hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the location was great. Short walk to the beach, great staff and great rooms. Good value for money. The buffet breakfast provided a wide range of choice and the swimming pool area is a great size.

This place was amazing, I really enjoyed the staff and the amenities are perfect. Having a pool right in the building was the most ideal since the beach sometimes isn't the best option for those really hot days.
