The location is really good, very close to Main Street of Surfers paradise, lots of shops and restaurant, just 2mins walk to the beach. the hotel breakfast buffet is nice with friendly price, the swimming pool is relax and clean. The only problem was the fridge in our room didn’t work and no one come to fix it. However the over all experience still quite good.

Room on 13 th floor, so had good views. We had double queen bed room, and small balcony. Nice linen, and good selection of complimentary teas and coffee. Great hot water for showers or bath, good flow and heat. We also had complimentary wifi which my son used. Some signs of the decor being tired in the bathroom, probably moisture issues, or poor choice in the first purchase! But nothing drastic, and loo roll is in a funny place

Close to tram to get around - close to the beach and places to eat. Limited lunch time menu unless you like burgers ! hotel bar closed by 9pm- pool not heated for the time of year.Staff helpful - rooms clean and bed comfortable. We did not get free wifi so an extra expense for our stay - plus they tried to charge us double for the wifi (error) and also gave our room no and key to a chines family by mistake - they were trying to enter our room and were banging the door - luckily we were there to answer and try to explain that they needed to return to the reception !!!!

Clean, tidy and well maintained. Close proximity to Cavill Ave, beach and public transportation. Ideal for families or couples. Great pool, but limited area for deck chairs. Overall worth the price in terms of value for money.

I was hesitant booking our stay given the number of underwhelming reviews online and I can confirm that the widespread comments were very much true. Given these negative reviews date back sometime its clearly obvious management has their hands tied in making any improvements and or they just really couldn't care less. For what its worth the issues are as follows:1. Having to pay a $200 bond and not being informed of this when booking accomodation is a huge turn off. First time we've ever had to pay a bond on a room and we've travelled all over the world for more than 20 years! 2. $20 a day for parking is excessive, parking should be included in your accomodation like every other hotel we've stayed in. Doesn't matter if other hotels in the area also charge for parking, offer your guests another point of difference in an area over saturated with accomodation choices.3. Stayed in a room on the 13th floor and the beds are way too hard, double bed was two single beds pushed together???! Bathroom is dated and has peeling paint, swollen wood mirror frames and poor ventilation. That being said the service was good but everything else was average at best
