A week stay at a 5 star hotel which did not love up to our expectations we have stayed at the soul back in 2012 and loved the hotel so much we rebooked but we're disappointed from the moment we arrived , we went to check and the room wasn't ready understandably this happens some time but we were told someone would call when our room was ready provided both our mobile numbers 2.5 hrs went by and no phone call , until someone called asking if we were coming back at all to check in we said we were awaiting a call to be told to check in no apologies. Once got to check in the valet was very rude and slammed the bags onto the trolley I asked if he could take and extra bag of shopping onto the trolley if he could I got a response with a huff , he then told me he can park my car for $25 a day I said no thank you he snorted at me in disbelief I refused his offer , he then continued to leave the bag of shopping on the ground.
We arrived to our 2 bedroom apartment which cost 3.5k over 7 days so for 500$ a night we did not expect to see big dirty marks all over the walls throughout the apartment , a PowerPoint in the main bedroom masking tapped shut half hanging off with wires exposed, no washing liquid to wash the clothes a dirty washing machine which had mold in the seal and stunk, lint in the dryer , the last guest half used face cream sitting on the vanity in the second bedroom ,no towels in the second bathroom, stains on the couch, and for a late check in after awaiting our room to be cleaned black hair all over the main bathroom floor and mold build up around the shower outing as well as someone's dirty face print on the glass that separates the bath window to the main bedroom , the second day we managed to get one towel in the main bathroom and 1 in the second and they had left the dirty towels on the floor , as well as the cleaner decided to leave there used hotel guest slippers on the rug near the couch.
This was a family holiday and was extremely disappointed.
