Apart from a few cleaning issues in our room we had an amazing experience. Staff were happy and extremely helpful. Would definitely book again. Central to all restaurants and so close to the beach. Was great to have the supermarket below the rooms to top up on whatever we needed.

This place has a great location, and we really enjoyed our stay there, however, we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Upon check-in, we were asked to pay an additional $40/night for a cot. That worked out to be an additional $160 for our 4 night stay. The matra website states "Cots and highchairs are provided at a small cost". The type of cot we got was identical to the travel cot Kmart sells for $49. I also could have lugged my travel cot from Sydney to save the $160. Also on the mantracircleoncavill dot com dot au site it states "Our apartments receive a daily Mantra Refresh. This includes making of the beds, replacement of towels, replenishment of toilet paper and kitchen supplies (coffee, tea, sugar and milk) only. For guests staying longer than 7 nights, a bed linen change will occur half way through your stay." - This is not true, we didn't receive any service during our 4 day stay. The only other compalint was the pool receives less than an hour of sunlight due to buildings blocking it, which is probably fine in the hotter months, but in May it made it too cold to use, while the beach was better. There is a heated indoor pool though, however it is a bit sterile.
