“Stay here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2012

This is a nice place. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need, they are clean and quiet. The place offers many freebees such as bikes, coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, movies and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were in room 13, which fronts the street, which is a quiet street, and had a great view of the beach ony 50 meters away. One of the best places we ever stayed.

From the first phone call i made the staff were super friendly. We stayed 6 nights and had a really good deal being the 'off season' and with all the freebies mentioned I thought there 'must be a catch'. I was wrong there is no catch!! The room had been renovated and had a really good bathroom, twin glass top hot plate, microwave/convection oven, cutlery, crockery, sink, toaster, rice cooker, split system aircon and balcony. WiFi was free and I was even given an i-pad to use whilst I was there. The freebies include a range of eskies (cooler bags/boxes) ice, deck chairs for the beach, beach towels, bikes, dvd's, books etc and just wait till you ask for a bbq pack!!! Great location very close to the beach, shops and resturants. Can't wait to go back. This is the first time I have ever written a testimonial for accomodation so it must have been good.

We stayed for 4 nights whilst in town for a wedding. We had two of the "cosy" rooms. Each room was a studio style with a mini kitchenette (stove, micorwave, kettle, coffee plunger, toaster etc) queen bed, small bath room, tv (with austar and fox sport) and wifi access. We had a verandah that could be access from both rooms. It had two sets of tables and chairs and a sun lounge and a ceiling fan. This was a lovely spot to sit and have a cuppa and read a book. Rooms were compact but had everything we needed and were light and had air cond and a ceiling fan.

We didn't use many of the facilities available however the pool and bbq areas looked clean and well maintained. There were books, board games and dvds to borrow for free at reception. Bikes, beach chairs and lilos etc were all available to borrow at no charge. Umbrellas were available which was great as it rained every day!

There is no restaurant or breakfast available onsite, but we just walked down to the Beach side cafe and had breakfast there, but you could easily cook something in your room. Great location 2-3 minute walk to the closest restaurants and shops and less than 10 minutes to pubs and the Sunday market.

Great value for the price.

Room Tip: we had room 504 and 503 and were happy with those as we wanted ground floor.

The friendly staff and the extras offered made our stay: trip advice that was unerringly right plus extras like beach towels, umbrellas, wide choice of reading added to to this. We were really comfortable and often chose to eat on the balcony because of the space and views.

Room Tip: A view of four mile beach is perfect.

This was great accommodation and suited us perfectly - we had a family room for mum, two grown up sons and a visiting grown up neice. Clean, well fitted out and in a fantastic location. The staff were very helpful booking up trips and we made use of some of the free extras. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: We had an upstairs room with a balcony - not sure how small the 'cosy' rooms downstairs are...
