It's exactly what you would expect from a luxury Sheraton hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Having a mini-fridge in the room was a real plus. The staff was friendly and helpful at every location. There's a nice path to the beach and even showers to wash off as you leave the beach.
The pool is amazing but it does have issues. First, there aren't enough chairs to go around. I went twice in the afternoon and there were no chairs left. I can't imagine what it's like in high season. Secondly, and most irritating, they issue you a "pool towel token" at check-in and you have to exchange this at the pool bar for a towel. Since the bar is very popular, you have to wait several minutes to get your towel or exchange it. If you forget to exchange it for the token at the end of your stay, they sock you with a $25 fine. The towels also were ordinary towels, not pool or beach towels. At a luxury resort at their prices, I expect towels to be free, big, and plentiful. Believe me, nobody would steal these thin things. A totally unnecessary aggravation.
I ate at the breakfast buffet twice and it was lovely, with an excellent selection of food for all types.More
