Well priced and good value a whole day out on the water with three snorkel experiences. The staff put customer safety first and provided guidance, supervision and great local knowledge. This is a great day trip and value for money.

Thank Barry H

Didn't know whether to go for a full or half day to the great barrier reef but the full day ended up being a great value and an excellent time. The boat was fantastic, adequate restrooms, places in the shade and sun to sit, and the food was more than I expected for the type of day that we did.
They brought us to 3 snorkel sites and had morning tea and afternoon tea as well as a lunch. Staff was very helpful for any level of snorkeler.
Recommend bring plenty of water and leave your valuables behind just to be on the safe side.

Great crew, friendly and approachable taking us to a fabulous location. Kids really enjoyed a couple of hours in the water snorkeling. Saw giant clams up close and a myriad of fish.

I can't recommend Calypso enough. After having booked through another company and having to cancel with them due to their sticking a 46 person school group on our tour, Calypso was recommended to us. We had an absolutely amazing day out on the reef. The staff members were all very friendly, helpful, and reassuring, and kept a close eye on everyone at all times. My only complaint is that they merge their diving and snorkel tours if the numbers aren't high enough. As such, we ended up going to the reef sites the divers were visiting vs where the snorkel only tour would've gone. It did feel like some of the sites were better suited for divers, but I thought 2 out of 3 of the sites were incredible regardless. Calypso does put a disclaimer on their website, so I was aware it was a possibility the boats could be merged. Again, I would highly recommend this company, and we had a great day out, but just be aware that you could possibly end up on a boat with divers going to the Angicourt (sp?) vs Opal reef areas if the numbers aren't high enough. They don't alert you ahead of time if they are merging the tours, but if you call 48 hrs out, they'll be able to give you an idea as to numbers and if it's looking like they're going to run a snorkel and dive tour or merge the two.
