We stayed for 8 nights and wouldn't return, it is just too basic with little or no maintenance. The units really need to be stripped and refurbished and outfitted with someone that is actually pleased to see you. The chap who appeared to be in charge needs a personality transplant, gave us the impression that he doesn't want to be there and couldn't care less if you stayed or not anyway. Whole impression is that this Villa Shangri-La looks to be very third world standard, do not expect a palace!
Positives are that the unit is roomy, the pool is well maintained, great off road parking and the bed is comfortable.
On the other hand owners have dogs that bark every time someone arrives or departs, the TV is not huge and the old fashioned sort. The cooker looks like it has seen better days but is functional. Washing machine and dryer look like old rust buckets and $3 each for a load to wash another $3 to dry if you want to take the risk. Went down to the office to pay for a washing load and get some powder for machine; no washing powder available and it is an extra cost. Aircon only in bedroom and too noisy to run overnight but then I guess this is a cost saving strategy?More
