Its hard to find any restaurant today where you get what you expect. Ouzeri was an exception. With just two of us an not wanting a big meal we settled for the egg plant dip,
and fried egg plant, dolmades, fried calamari , and pork sausages
It was a busy Saturday but not full, the waitress was very helpful and service prompt. The pita bread was soft, sausages very tasty, they had that light spice to it. Then came the dolmades, which to be frank would have been the same in any good Greek establishment. But the Calamari was superbly prepared. Its not easy to fry them with just that sufficient amount of bounce without being hard, and the batter has to be light with the minimum amount of oil. This ticked all the boxes.
Generous serves of all dishes and for $45/- for two, I think this restaurant is real value for money. Well done Chefs!!!!
