Went to a fundraiser breakfast here. Serving around 60 people all at the same time is not easy, but the food was still great.

Short Ribs were undercooked and stringy. The fat had not rendered down and ruined a good meal.
It wouldn’t stop me going here again, but don’t recommend the ribs unless you are prepared to send them back to slow cook for another 2 hours

The food is excellent and the staff are professional and friendly. We stayed in one of the room overlooking the pool and it was quiet enough to sleep well. The food is good and there is usually a local musician playing. It is a little difficult to get to becasue of the road works but they will end in a few months. Overall, a safe, friendly and fun place to visit for a drink or a meal.

I'm actually really impressed by the quality of the food considering pub food can be a hit and miss. It wasn't exceptional, but I can only speak on what I have tasted and that parmie was pretty darn good.

This is more the pub experience than the nearby Tim's Surf and Turf, but you can eat pretty well the same food (slightly smaller counter meal dishes, so you might finish them), with a broader range of draft beers. Cavanagh Street is a main road, so you get a lot of passing trade. Head out the back of the main bar for a bit more open atmosphere.
