One of the first shops as you walk in via the main entrance. The store is always busy and one of the busiest in the market.
They serve a variety of seafood platters or single items ranging from lobsters, crabs, scallops, octopus to mussels, prawns and calamari. Due to the popularity of the store, the prices are quite expensive and they only accept cash, but the food is generally served very quickly, hence their popularity.
On this occasion, we ordered a lobster platter, which includes a 1/2 lobster mornay, 4 oysters (kilpatrick and mornay), 3 king prawns, a bunch of baby BBQ octopus and fried calamari served with chips for $73.50. The fried food was oily as usual, but the lobsters and oysters were decent.
Definitely not worth the cost, but you come here for the experience and the dock side scenery. Good seafood is just the added extras. With limited good options, this is still one of the better seafood stores to eat from in the market.
