My husband brought us here after having eaten there with some friends in the past. Burgers are delicious but very limited menu (only burgers) and no seats. We took our food and ate in the park on a bench.

Went for the cheeseburger expecting a good feed at $12 but was a little disappointed, could have got exactly the same around the corner from McDonalds for a third of the price.

This place was over hyped and is out of place in the CBD with it's hipster design, music blaring hole in the wall joint. But it's reputation made it worth a try. The cheeseburger was cooked to order, while you waiting listening to loud music. It tasted just like a McDonald's cheeseburger, but with super sweet (and little soggy) bun, juicy meat pattie and tart pickle. However the $12 price tag did not match up. A little greasy overall, and you still feel hungry afterwards.
Try Jacks in Newtown for a much better gourmet burger experience.

After hearing all the good reviews, we got some lunch from Mary's. We got 4 meal deals. The burgers really weren't anything special. They did not look great once they were unwrapped. The taste was lacking a bit and they were greasy. Definetly left us feeling a little stogy afterwards. Price was average.

Wanted to do a cheap and cheerful Sunday lunch before a theatre matinee and I'd heard about all these new gourmet burger places in the city so I did a bit of research. Many aren't open on a Sunday but Mary's is, and it's just around the corner from the theatre with good reviews so we decided to go. First up, no seating. It's just a counter, but a nice lady told us there was food court seating in the Stockland Building (second level) across the road and that worked out fine. Between the four of use we had a chicken burger, a Mary burger, a cheeseburger and and brekkie burger. They were all quite greasy. The chicken one was dry. We all found they sat heavy in our stomachs. Chips were nice but really just shoestring fries. They had a hot sauce which was nice but not a place any of us would rave about.
