Had dinner with a family member who is pescatarian (vegan + seafood). There were great menu options - Chinese/Malay cuisines - that appealed to both of us. We had the Fish Cakes, vegetarian Spring Rolls, Mixed vegetable curry and the pineapple fried rice - served in a pineapple with prawns and scallops added to the fried rice mix. It was great. Service was excellent - they are very professional. We also had a bottle of French rose - very nice. All up cost including a 10% tip was $140. I've marked this place as "Fine Dining" as they have white starched tablecloths, waiters in smart uniforms, and prices - especially for seafood dishes - start at around $50. They are not expensive for what they offer - both food and overall experience.

Never disappointing and great, central location. This place has been around for 30 yrs and would not have survived unless it was more than good

We were unaware of this restaurant but it is well situated and on the first/second floor away from the hordes on Circular Quay, We were warmly welcomed and seated very quickly. We were early and so it was not at all busy. The menu is extensive and is Chinese and Malaysian and so suites a range of preferences.

The waiting staff are very professional and always available but not intrusive.

We both enjoyed our meals but restricted ourselves to a main course.

The dining area is large and the tables are well spaced out and quite private. The décor is subdued an stylish.

Prices are a little high but this is justified by value for money.

We always look for diversity while visiting and we decided for Neptune Palace as it sounded as a great mix.
Our food was great but the waiter and the servers were disconnected felt like they didn’t care. This is not a place I would go back to.

Was highly recommended to us as a must but we were a little disappointed. Found it highly priced for okay food - and wine costs exhorbitant. Service was pleasant but formal. Wouldn’t bother again.
