The hostel is located close to Sydney's Central Station and is only a short walk from many of the city's malls and restaurants, as well as Darling Harbour. However, internet is expensive ($3.90 per hour), both for desktop and Wifi connections and it doesn't always work. The only way to get up to the rooms and kitchen is by elevator, and there are only two elevators for the entire building. Sometimes we had to wait more than 15 minutes to get an elevator, which is very inconvenient if you are in a rush. When we checked out and wanted to store our bags for a few hours we were told that we could rent a locker for 4 hours costing $7, the rate going up after that time. Then we asked another staff for storage and he let us store our luggage for free, so it really depends on who you talk to. It would be great if there was a bit more consistency with their rules.
The rooms are average size and have lockers. It's fairly easy to meet people at this hostel, so if you're traveling alone this is a good place to stay.
