We decided, for something a bit different do to the buffet luncheon cruise for Fathers Day and it didn't disappoint. We chose the added extras of a windows table, and the drinks package. The food was plentiful - I could not go past the Sydney Rock Oysters, blue swimmer crab, prawns (which were a bit small) , smoked salmon which all bar the prawns were in plentiful supply. My family reported that the rest of the buffet, especially the desserts were excellent. The service was prompt and efficient, with drinks being delivered soon after ordering and plates constantly being cleared to make way for more. it was lovely to cruise around and rediscover our harbour. There was commentary on the sights we were passing which you could not hear terribly well, which did not worry us being locals, but I can imagine out of towners might find frustrating if they were there to learn more about the harbour. The interior decor of the boat is a bit tired and in need of a refresh, but we weren't there to look at things inside the boat. it was a fabulous way to spend Fathers day, and at a cost of under $400 for 3 adults and two children (including all drinks) was also pretty good value for a front row seat in Sydney Harbour.

We took the afternoon cruise around the harbour. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and residents of the harbour and regularly added some humorous little anecdotes. It was a cool day, but it was very comfortable inside the middle deck and we still had a very good view in all directions. The cruise covered almost all of the harbour east of the bridge and a small part on the western side around to Darling Harbor. A very worthwhile way to while away a couple of hours in Sydney.

I did the Harbour Story cruise. It was a nice day out and the boat was very lightly booked. There are two options for the tour standard and premium, with the premium you board first, a glass if sparkling wine and some "cake" included. The tour is about 2 hours long with live commentary. They tell about the history if the harbor and some sites around it. It does have a bar and snacks available.

We booked the long lunch cruise during a short stay in Sydney with the family. It was the second time for my husband and I but a new experience for the kids (9 & 11 yrs). They really enjoyed the history in the commentary and we all loved the food. We came off the boat feeling very relaxed and looking forward to the next time.

Albeit a little cool in the wind on the top deck of the boat, we very much enjoyed our cruise around Sydney Harbour during a weekend escape to Sydney. The tour guide was very knowledgable about the sites and history of Sydney, also sharing points of interest about realestate along the harbour shores. The cruise gives you the opportunity to see and appreciate the spectacular scenery in Sydney. Much better than by road but I wouldn't want to do this tour on a cold day as I don't think you would get the same out of the trip sitting inside behind windows.
