We received a gift voucher for this experience, so I cannot advise on cost.
However, everything else considered, a truly wonderful relaxing 2hours in our beautiful harbour on the John Cadman.
Seafood was really freshy. Not an overwhelmimg buffet, but mouth-watering and plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Purchase from a great wine selection.
Absolutely no complaints.
If there's one thing to improve it's the pre-start attention. We were told to come at 11.30 for 12pm start but it got quite hot and uncomfortable waiting, especially for families with young ones.
On another side, the staff over the phone were really lovely and helpful too,

I took a short 2 hour+ cruise around Sydney harbour. Although I lived in Sydney many years ago I loved the imformative commentry so interesting. The main part of the harbour had not changed much but certainly around Darling Harbour & surrounding areas had. A must for visitors to Sydney staff very friendly & helpful.

The zoo and whale watching combo ticket is a good value. You need to move quickly thru the zoo to be back at the docks by 130 for afternoon whale watching, but it's worth it if you only have limited time in Sydney. The whale watching crew are talkative and helpful but the boat will idle in waves waiting for a whale or tailing one, so take motion sickness medication.

We chose to do the harbour story cruise on the afternoon of our arrival in Sydney after a long overnight flight and it was the perfect choice - relaxing with an informative commentary and great photo opportunities of the harbour. A great introduction to the city.

Really disappointed with this, no choice on cocktails, windows of ship were dirty and detracted from view, thought this was a complete rip off!! Get the public transport ferries instead, Manly ferry was fantastic and much much better value. Sounded great big disappointment!!!!

Hi Graham,

We're very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this cruise. We have many cocktails available on board including: The Mojito, The Negroni, Cosmopolitan, The John Cadman, Midori Splice, Margarita Straight, Sydney Bay Breeze and Vodka Martini. On arrival, guests are welcome to a complimentary Sydney Bay Breeze which is a favourite or they can choose the house wine.

The public transport ferries get you from place to place while as the cocktail cruise is an amazing sightseeing cruise on the open air deck as well as the dining deck. It starts on the King Street Wharf and comes back in approximately an hour and a half. Definitely if you're looking for a ferry, this sightseeing cruise is not the most appropriate.

Thank you again for passing along your feedback - we really appreciate it. And again, sorry you were disappointed with our cruise.

Regards,
Captain Cook Team
