“Disappointing tour though staff were charming”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

Harbour highlights tour for 75 mins on Sydney 2000 was hugely disappointing. Sporadic recorded historical commentary was stilted & not particularly interesting; staff clearing from lunch cruise and setting up for dinner cruise all around made it clear this was just a 'stop gap' tour to fill a gap in the schedule. Disabled access to upper level impossible so forced to sit with limited view on lower deck. Staff were lovely but didn't make up for the shortcomings. Would save money next time and just take the Manly ferry instead - definitely not worth $130 for party of five.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us and for your kind comments re our crew. Whilst we are never pleased to receive complaints we really appreciate your feedback which helps our company to improve and maintain our product quality and the standard of delivery.

We have taken onboard your comments regarding our crew resetting the vessel, and interruptions to the commentary while you were enjoying your Highlights Cruise. We will address these issues to ensure our service levels are consistent in the future. Please accept our sincere apologies for our service not meeting your expectations.

Our Harbour Highlights cruise is designed to showcase the main sights of Sydney Harbour over a 1 hour and 15 minute cruise accompanied by a sightseeing commentary. It is difficult to compare value on this type of tourism product with a transportation ferry service that does not have a commentary and is from point A to point B.

Again many thanks again for your valuable feedback and we hope you will consider cruising with us again.

Sincerely,

Richard Doyle

“Take the ferry”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

We went on this dinner cruise of Sydney Harbor. We saw the same things we would have seen on any ferry ride and we would not have had to put up with the food served on this overpriced tourist trap. They served us gummy gnocchi in Chef-Boy-R-Dee inspired tomato sauce. Salmon was over cooked severely and very dry. Medium well beef, tender but flavorless. Inedible steamed broccoli. Good mashed potatoes, though. And boy desserts - chocolate orange cake or a lemon cheese cake-like thing - were also good.

“great rate, great tour!”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

even on a rainy day, this tour was a great find. this tour takes you all around and up the harbor, pointing out famous peoples homes along the beaches and different islands and beaches along the way. GREAT picture-taking from the harbor. my husband and i did the coffee cruise and they had some GREAT types of cakes, and i cant remember what they are called but they are basically dipped in coconut, they were amazing!!! restrooms on board were clean, easily accessible. bar had good choices for drinkers and non-drinkers. the guy in the capt cook costume walking around the pier was really nice and wasnt pushy like some other people advertising on the pier. would def. do this again on a better day!

“Service let it down....”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

We choose to do a sunset dinner cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Started off great getting a nice table near the window and then it went down hill from there sadly. It was quiet difficult to get a drink, my husband asked at least 3 times before he actually got his first beer and to try and order another one was just as bad! I asked the waitress for a glass of ice as I like to put ice in my red wine and it too took asking twice to receive it but when we finally received the glass it was FILTHY it had a tomato looking sauce all over it, there is no way the waitress wouldn't of seen it, obviously we asked for another when we got her attention again and barely even got a sorry! My husband ordered his steak medium well and it came out what I would consider rare but at this point it was not worth even trying to tell the waitress about it!! The View was gorgeous and all other staff seemed friendly but this was certainly not worth the price tag we paid.
