Vibe Hotel Rushcutters Bay is my favourite and has been for years. I love it even more now since its been refurbished entirely. The pool area is the crown jewel on the top floor with gorgeous harbour views. It's just lovely and a perfect end to a busy day, with a pool bar menu which is a new addition. The service is friendly and personal and not over the top. You cannot beat the location, close to the city & everywhere in the eastern suburbs. Easy to walk anywhere and a beautiful park, oval and tennis courts nearby. The locals can even have a coffee on the 'Paws Terrace' with complimentary water bowls for their pooch. A very nice welcoming touch for the neighbourhood.

We stayed here only the one night which was the 1st April and I could not rate it more highly.
The hotel is well appointed, it was very clean, had comfortable beds and the bathroom was new and in spotless condition.he city centre.
Room rates were reasonable if not cheaper than a lot of those in
Located just east of the city but still close, it is surrounded by parkland and is adjacent to the harbour.
We ate dinner at their restaurant, Storehouse on the Park, with both of us opting for the lamb shoulder. A steak knife was provided with the meal but was totally unnecessary as you could have cut the meat with a butter knife it was so tender and yet it was not overcooked, still exhibiting a lovely pink centre.
However, having said all of this the one thing that could not be surpassed was the customer service. I worked 47 years in the hospitality industry and I know how difficult it is to have the staff display the level of service you would like for your establishment. The one thing that really impressed in this regard was that it was not just in one or two areas it was the entire staff, duty manager, reception, wait staff, bar attendants the lot. Not only were they pleasant and accommodating but EVERY single one of the staff smiled when they looked at you with most speaking to you ensuring that you stay did not want for anything.
We live on the South Coast and don't travel and stay in Sydney that often and normally we would stay somewhere in the Darling Harbour precinct but this has now become our 'go to' place when we do.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the park.

Vibe Rushcutters Bay is situated by the harbour, opening out onto a beautiful park, with shady avenues of trees. The restaurant has excellent choices, calamari and strip loin steak stand out. The decor is smart trendy with large windows looking onto park and harbour. The rooftop pool is spectacular day and night. The staff are welcoming and Sar in the restaurant was perfectly wonderful looking after us every day.

Room Tip: View of park or harbour
