Have visited here again, and as per usual found the front desk staff to be very efficient and friendly.

The room is very spacious and very clean, We love the layout with the kitchen and lounge room downstairs with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

If you need there is a washing machine, which is very handy. There is a small outside balcony to enjoy the view of Darling Harbour.

Well located to walk to the Rocks and the new parklands of Barrangaroo.

This visit included myself and partner.My last visit which i forget to review was with my two small boys, they enjoyed the sports on tv, and ordered pizza to the room........ It is a place to stay for gtreat access to Darling Harbour and the King street Wharf dining areas. Hence we keep coming back.

Ideally situated, easy walking distance to Art Gallery, Australian Museum, Fish Market & only a couple of short blocks from The Strand Arcade & Queen Victoria building. Only minutes from King Wharf & Darling Harbour restaurants, plenty of pubs etc in the area. Good size room, with good views & a tiny balcony. Full kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine in bathroom. Very clean & comfortable seating & bed. Only slight downfall is located on a corner so taxi pickup/drop off is a problem- but there is a taxi rank only a block away.

I stayed for from Monday to Friday on a week in august 2016 for work. Some good points: location is good, staff are friendly and helpful (they gave me a room change to try to help with the noise). Frankly, it's the noise that makes this hotel terrible. True, the furnishings are slightly rundown but still pretty good. But the noise is terrible! And the worst thing is that it's entirely avoidable if the hotel owners just did some basic maintenance and redid the seals on their windows! There will still be noise but it would be manageable and a good night's sleep can be had. The next level of comfort would be to double glaze the windows but that would cost a bit more.
