Stayed one night for birthday gift. Room with a view overlooked Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and Opera House. Service was amazing, room was spacious with all mod cons. Would definitely recommend to pay a bit more to get the view. Could just sit and watch the world go by on the comfy chair placed near the window. Was great to wake up looking at the Opera House

Room tip: ask for a room with a view, well worth it

I have been a regular visitor to the Four Seasons for the last 3 years. While there are some great hotels in Sydney and I have tried them all, I keep on coming back to this hotel. The rooms are dated, the standard rooms are small, the hotel needs a refresh and the roadworks around the hotel is less than ideal. So why do I keep on coming back? It is the staff that makes it worthwhile. The staff here will go the extra yard to make you a special guest. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it is authentic service that you will get. I hope you will experience this when you stay there.

The Four Seasons is located overlooking Circular Wuay with most rooms sporting a bridge and Opera house view.

The pool is outside and has multiple day.beds to relax on, it also has a spa too.

Was told the Day spa was amazing as would need to book.

We had impeccable bar service by the Brazilian bar man who gave us lots more travelling tips while sipping one of his amazing cocktails.. Very entertaining to watch..

The bed is one of the most comfortable we have experienced and all in all a very comfortable hotel.

Will definitely return when in Sydney

By Circular Quay and the Rocks, this is a brilliant location. Rooms are well appointed and all staff excellent especially Room Maid, Nilima. After some very minor issues on check in, Ron Malanum, assistant house keeping manager, responded wonderfully. We were upgraded to corner suite which was wonderful.

Valet staff, doormen and porters all showed similar courtesy and excellent service.
This was a 5 star experience in every way.

Room tip: Just enjoy a great hotel 😂

The service by the hotel prior to & on our arrival was top notch, thank you. However, for a brand that aims to be a premium 5-star, they are left wanting. The room had a full harbour view as we had booked but was incredibly noisy through both traffic on the adjacent flyover and the nearby building site. To that end the room is nowhere near sufficiently soundproofed (we were on 17th floor).
Our room was smaller than we expected but once we’d jigged casual chairs and other incidentals around we created the space we needed. However, every day housekeeping would return things to exactly per the room template. It became a game in the end but seriously - if I prefer a box of tissues in the bedroom not bathroom, can’t you leave them there?
Finally, on our 5th night we dropped into the bar for a nightcap. We ordered 2 G&Ts. 15 mins later, one of them appeared. We challenged the waiter on where was the other and different excuses were given.
In 2018 we have stayed in Raffles Seychelles, Beaumont Mayfair, a Mandarin Oriental, a Constance Hotel plus others less notable. Without a doubt, Four Seasons Sydney would be 5th or 6th in that ranking. Could do much better!

Dear CCHoll,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on your recent stay at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney.

I am pleased that you enjoyed our signature service upon arrival and in the lead-up to your stay. However, I regret to learn that you were not satisfied with various aspects of your room including housekeeping arrangements. Thank you for sharing this feedback for our team to take onboard.

Your comments regarding the experience in Grain are also disappointing, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention to further investigate.

Thank you once again, and overall I do hope that you enjoyed your time in Sydney.

With kind regards,
Simon Barnett
