We did the 2-day surfcamp with waves in Seal Rocks at the beginning of January 2011. We loved it. The price (199$) was pretty good compared to other companies for 2 days accomodation, food, two days surfing lessons and the fun we had.
We are a couple at the age of 30 and were a little bit concerned that we would spend the trip only with 16 to 18 year olds. But in the end it was a really good mix of people in every age and from different countries. There were even quite a few Australiens with us to learn surf, which we didn't expect, but was great.
The surfcamp was doormstyle with shared bath but the house we lived in was quite nice, situated in the nature with a big terrasse. We saw wallabies and other animals arround. The main house of the camp had a bar and an outdoorarea with pool.
The dive instructors were crazy I can tell you. But behind they crazyness they were lovely people, they did a great job, wanted everyone to share their love for surfing and helped where they could. We spend the whole first day on the beach to learn surf. The second day we surfed till about 2:30 pm when we had to get ready for our trip back to Sydney.
The food was great and we had so much fun and big party on the second night. We all were sad when we got back to Sydney. We highly recommand "Waves Surfschool".
