Away for 4 nights in Canberra I found this through Trip Advisor reviews and decided to book it.
The location is very conveniently located in town and it is a comfortable place to stay.
I was a little surprised at the size of the room ( somewhat on the smallish size ) but then again we only really need somewhere to sleep and shower.
We have found the staff to be helpful,and the bed is huge and is like sleeping on a cloud!!

We certainly do embrace the 'Little' in Little National Hotel, and are so glad to hear we've hit the nail on the head with a comfortable place to sleep and a dreamy shower. I do hope you got to enjoy our breakout spaces on levels 5 and 6 also.

It's a small hotel but serves its purpose really well. Its modern, minimalist design is really well thought out and the impressive use of space makes it feels comfortable, not cramped. Super clean, too. I really liked it and I'm keen to come back. Perfect location if you have a client close by, however it's kind of far from the commercial centre of town (Ubers are like $10-$15). And pretty close to the lake which is great for a morning workout. Staff are an absolute highlight as everyone is so warm and accommodating. Night drinks in the lounge - also a treat. Thanks for a great stay.

Frequent traveller, have stayed here many times. Unfortunately it's starting to get a bit tired and am guessing maintenance not being kept up to date.
The most recent trip I had the luxury of having to move rooms twice. First the electronic blinds wouldn't close, so changed rooms, only for it to have no power. The third room was functional, but missing spoons (??) for the coffee and suspiciously not spic & span clean.
The process to change rooms twice took about an hour. And the hotel staff treated me throughout as if I was causing them hassle, rather than the other way around. I have to say given some of the other hotels around in the same price bracket, the LN will no longer be one of my first preferences when in Canberra.

Stayed here with 2 friends last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beds are huge and very comfortable. Rooms are spotless and easy to relax in. Staff were all polite, professional and friendly. Looking forward to staying there again

All areas smelled beautiful, the views were great. The decor was lovely, bed very comfortable, however, the position of the bed meant my husband had to keep climbing over me to get up. The toiletries were lovely but not replenished properly.
