Description: Trusted Suburban Farrer local, Fox & Bow has been dishing up delicious food and coffee to it's locals since 2014. We're a little bit Spanish, with an emphasis on sustainability, and quality local fresh produce, but an uncomplicated approach towards food. We're aiming to give you more than just your everyday cafe experience. Think Chilli Scrambled Eggs, Olasagasti Anchovies, Woodfired Tomato, Rodriguez Chorizo, Smoked Trout Croquettes..... It's all about flavour. Accompanied with award-winning coffee by ONA, we hope you enjoy your visit.

In a city of lots of wonderful cafes, I feel like Fox and Bow stands out! It's only a small cafe, with a tiny kitchen that you can see when you sit inside.. The food and coffee are absolutely delicious. My favourite so far is the 'Señorita Fox' which is poached eggs with smoked salmon, avocado and haloumi. They don't take reservations on the weekend.. but a group of 7 of us turned up this morning and they found us a table in about 10 mins (they even brought us chairs outside to sit on while we waited!). The only slight downside is that it can get a bit noisy inside when it is really busy. But overall, definitely my new favourite cafe to go in Canberra!!

Great coffee and great food. This modern cafe was a surprise. The brunch menu was fantastic with plenty of smashed avo.

Who would ever thing of heading away from the centre and into the suburbs for a great meal. For a 2nd time we went into the Woden suburbs for this fabulous cafe. Once again their creative & witty menu turned out an excellent brunch.
The kitchen is small but clearly well organised and hierarchal but the most wonderful touches, it was the muslin wrapped lemon which was the piece de resistance this time !! Watching the kitchen activities is quiet the pastime however on both visits there has been such a hubbub of diners and diners with kids that there is heaps to watch. Even the queuing to order (which I generally hate) is social and happens with a minimum of fuss. The dining area & verandah catches the morning sun so is very pleasant on these cold mornings.
The food is just exquisite, wonderful flavours, beautiful presentations, clever marriages of ingredients.
The staff are nice but a bit too speedy in taking empty plates. I am old fashioned and feel the plates should all stay until the last person is finished not whisk them away ASAP. This is etiquette so my only negative feedback!

Our Canberra residing family love this place and I would have to say it would be our favourite in Canberra too.
The food and coffee are exceptional but most importantly are the welcoming staff who make you feel as though nothing is a bother.
We had a delicious breakfast today and all of us (6) were extremely happy with our food and drinks.
Imaginative menu presented beautifully.
We will be back

I love those little modern cafes! The food is very adventurous and always delicious, I also enjoy their fresh juices and milkshakes. Sadly, I tried their coffee once and would rather not have it again. Staff is lovely, even thought they don't have table service and you don't interact with them too much. Nice spot to relax!
