Had a room with view of the Adriatic. everything worked--hot water, good queen bed, sparkling clean. Only two couples there the night we stayed. Good cooked to order breakfast. Room is small but functional. good modern AC. This is a pension even though called a 3 star hotel. Schlep your bags up the stairs. Very friendly staff. Avoid the cruise ships barfing out thousands of passengers and stay at this quiet place.

We were driving through Kotor and were searching for a hotel while still driving and this place came up as one of the closest. (It's about 5 km outside of the old town, so you'll hopefully have a car.) We popped in and checked out the rooms. We paid about 90 Euros for a room with two single beds and a queen for 3 of us. This was in early May 2017 and the place was pretty much empty. The room was dated and spartan but super clean. I mean not one speck of dirt, nor a fingerprint anywhere. That was impressive. Beds were comfortable and the quilts they used were comfortable and warm.

There were a couple of restaurants 1/2 block away that had decent Turkish coffee. They had food too, but we didn't try them.

The owners were super nice, but did not speak a word of English. (You can get by with German.) No amenities like coffee maker and things like that although there was a small fridge. Our view was of the bay and it was stellar, though the window was tiny.

This lovely little hotel/pension by Pana and his daughter. Everything was clean and cute. We had very good service. Especially when we arrived my husdband had stomac flu for 2 days and he was not in shape. Pana had cooked minestrone soup which was served to him. The best medicine!
The sea was right there, you can so easily go to swim and enjoy quiet sunny day there. Area around hotel Pana was nice and quiet. Some cars but didn't bother us.
Rooms were small but enough to us, even we are big people.
Since going around 3,5 weeks around of Balkans, this place was the best place to relax!

Room Tip: We had the second floor at the corner, so we had two small rooms, windows two sides and great sew view

Although called a hotel, this is really a pension, run by a wonderfully friendly family with very limited English. Rooms are small and somewhat what primitive by big city standards. Parking is very difficult and limited. But the setting is wonderful, literally just a few feet from the Bay. There is no elevator, but family would probably help with bags. We carried our own. It takes just a few minutes to get to Old Town Kotor by taxi, and staying at Pana you are away from any crowds. There is a little patio are by the shore with snacks and drinks, and there is a nice breakfast in an outdoor upstairs terrace. I don't think that this hotel is the place for everyone, but if you understand what you are getting it is pleasant enough and very inexpensive. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the owners.

This pension turned out to be quite a find: the location is right by the sea, a 5 min taxi ride from Kotor, and it is quiet. Everything worked, including the AC, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the family staff are charming and helpful. The views over the Gulf of Kotor were fabulous, so sitting out on the balcony for an ample breakfast was a pleasure. There is an exceptionally good open air restaurant just a short walk away, as an added bonus. Prices are very reasonable.

Room Tip: I liked being on the third (top) floor
