We (my husband and I) spent one night in this guesthouse during our island hoping this September. We chose for this place only last minute, but it was really really great experience I recommend to everybody visiting Crete. The guesthouse is in the middle of beautiful scenery, mountains, place is incredibly quiet and the only thing you can see around are mountains, goats and the sea in distance. We took dinner in the guesthouse, everything was really fresh and tasty, homemade cheese, great mussaka and that evening belongs to the most cosy and memorable we had in Greece. Yannis and Irini are great, hospitable, we spent our evening with them, home grown apples and fresh almonds, fresh yoghurt with candied fruit and of course...genuine raki. :D The evening was full of chatting and listening to music and singing by Yannis and his lute. If you want to see something completely different than tourist Crete, I highly highly recommend this place. :) Thanks a lot. Ou...and the breakfast had the most amazing view ever. :DMore
