As a fans of the vikings this was a must see place to us. There was very well information about the history of the stones and the area.

A must do if you are in the area. Walking on the burial mounds gives you a real sense of the history of the ancient kings of Denmark. Set in picturesque country side next to the Jelling exhibition makes for an interesting and informative couple of hours.

Loved seeing the runic stones, great small museum as well summarising some key historic points about the areas viking history. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Very peaceful, with relatively few tourists which made it an enjoyable visit on a lovely sunny day.

Worth to see if you love history in general or history of Denmark and rune stones.
Parking place nearby and great museum.
It is UNESCO heritage so it is definitely worth to see.

A very special place to visit. The place where Bluetooth has been buried! To visit this place you have to be a little Viking-crazy. However, do not just visit the site. Do enter the museum, because it will all make much more sense. Moreover, the museum is for free. The restaurant across the road is good for a beer.
