This villa is set in a picturesque setting and has all the comforts of home. It is secluded and quiet with views of the valley. The one thing that you cannot know from the website is that the church bells ring throughout the day, giving the setting a feeling of peace.
The owner, Helle Louise, gave very helpful information. It did take a bit of detective work to find the key box and open it, but once we accomplished it, the home provided a place of rest for us. It is ideally situated away from the larger town of Pescia, but close enough to get to the grocery store as needed. The local restaurants were fabulous! A must try.
I highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a really peaceful vacation!

A group of 6 of us (3 married couples) stayed for 2 weeks, using this as a base to travel around Tuscany and Cinque Terre. It was fantastic. The house was wonderfully clean and well equipped. We loved the outdoor spaces and ate our meals outside as much as possible. The water in the pool was cool at this time of year but was used on a couple of occasions. The grounds with the fruit trees, shrubs and flowers were well maintained and added so much atmosphere. The setting was unbelievably beautiful. You could see several small villages scattered throughout the valley from the villa. We managed to walk to a number of them during our stay. The owners recommendation of the local restaurants was right on. We ate at all 3 on more than one occasion-both for dinner and daytime coffee or beer stops. The Esselunga grocery store in nearby Pescia provided the ingredients for our meals "in" and was a delightful source of cheeses, meats, produce and bread. We also went to the market in Pescia one Saturday and that was a fun experience as well. The villa was every bit as nice as it looked in the photos and lived up to its description.
