What can describe best this lodge than a « WOW »!!! The view!! The room!! We just did not want to leave! Frederik the manager and the staff are just amazing! Just little details to bring it to five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Best place in Amed! Will come back for sure!

We spent nye and a fews days afterwards at Mathis. It was a perfect little escape and the beds were absolute heaven. Super soft linens and a bed you don't want to leave. We'll be back again soon for a recharge.

We loved this place, the view, the rooms, the decorations -design, the staff, the managers, the food...
the downsize, we could not reach the hotel with our small rented car as the road was narrow and needed a stronger car or 4x4, therefore we had parked at a free designated parking area and took the free shuttle pickup provided by the hotel for a 15 min +- bumpy ride (the kids loved that adventure). I still preferred to have our car if i had the choice so we can leave or come at our convenience. Beside that at the hotel we barely had phone signal. The only communication possible was through the hotel WIFI which was suitable for minor browsing and WA chatting. I had plans to WFH during my stay but that was out of question! for us this place is great for a retreat and detox. Our kids liked the place too.
