i'm such a "junkie" with trip advisor, i cant believe i didnt put a post on here.. (actually i thought i already did.. oops)
My husband and I took our first trip to Canada during the 2011 summer and spent the last week of August with Rob, Kathy and Clan and had a fantastic time. This is a drive in lodge but feels like a fly in. Our cottage was perfect.. No tv/no phone... awwwwww.... :)
Their hospitatlity is top notch and if you go away hungry while your there, it's your own fault. They have services from nice hotel type of rooms, lake front cottages and even a campground. There's boats at every lake to accomodate all guest. They offer packages for all lifestyles/prices but if convenience is a need/want for you, this is the place. We purchased the All American Package and all we had to worry about was bait which was only 20 steps away from our cottage. The lakes are big enough that we never had to fish the same spot with another boat. We didnt take advantage of their bear hunting season but they were coming in by the truck loads as we were leaving. We got Richard for 2 days as a guide. He knows the area better than anyone and took us to some great spots. Dont miss the ATV outpost trip with Jerome. He was a great guide and the fishing is super. We got some fantastic pictures, met some great friends and can't wait our second trip, this fall. We will take advantage of the River Trip this year so we'll be back in September with a new update. :)
