Lovely location. Exceptionally clean. Tastefully decorated. Nice breakfast. Nothing not to love. We had dinner in the pub next door and it was lovely. We will definitely return to both the b&b and the pub.

We stopped at the Inn for lunch and were delighted that we did. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Food Board had a good mix of choices at reasonable prices and what we had has home made and excellent value. Its a traditional pub with a partly flagged floor and welcomes dogs and walkers. It's about 10 mins from Hay on Wye but without the parking problems Hay can have. We'll certainly stop again. We didn't see the accommodation so cannot comment but if the standards in the Inn itself are an accurate way to judge the B&B will be very good too.

We came down to Dorstone for a family bbq/party. Me, my husband had one room, my brother& sister in law in another & our Son in another. The rooms were clean & spacious and the back rooms had lovely views. Magdalena was very friendly and cooked us all a tasty breakfast. My sister in law is a vegetarian, Magdalena was very good offering alternatives for her. Well worth 5 stars, we will be back most definitely. The rooms were wooden log cabin effect, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very spacious with lovely hot showers ( no baths) our bathroom was a wet room type, rhe others had shower cubicles. Breakfast was n a eco cabin next to the accommodation, it was very nice in there. The accommodation was just to the back of the pandy pub which was very nice, friendly place, we had a lovely dinner here and a few drinks in here. There were ducks and chickens at the accommodation, the eggs for breakfast were supplied by these which was nice.

This was our second visit to The Pandy B and B and it was even better than when we stayed a few years ago. Then, breakfast was served in the Pandy Inn, an olde world pub situated just a minute across the car park from the chalet style building which offers several good size rooms. Now, a full English or lighter breakfast is served in a delightful wooden breakfast hut in the B and B garden, complete with wood burner for cooler days.
The Pandy Inn and the bed and breakfast are now two separate businesses but their proximity to one another is only an advantage if you fancy a few drinks!
The room we stayed in was a twin but other rooms offer king size beds. The twins were so comfy, with crisp sheets and plump pillows. There was a tea/coffee and biscuit tray and essential toiletries were provided in the wet room.
Wifi is included in the price but if you need to use your mobile phone be warned that it is difficult to get a signal inside. I did manage however to make a call from part of the garden.
Breakfast was delicious with cereal and juice followed by a full English or lighter options if required. It was all perfectly cooked and presented and our host was very friendly and welcoming.
The chickens and ducks wandering about the garden added to the charm of the location in this sleepy village, which is just a few miles from Hay on Wye, the Welsh border and the beautiful Black Mountains.
We will be back some day.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have countryside views

My wife and I booked quite late for a business trip. Magdelana was super. Nothing was too much bother, she even got up early to cook our breakfasts for us. The accommodation is clean and well presented. Many thanks, we'll see you again.
