This was our forth stay at Le parc du chateau. We now book well in advance to make sure we have a room! We love it there! The rooms are beautiful. The little veranda so quaint. The breakfast great. The welcome and hospitality second to none. We will be back and hopefully next time we will be able to stay a little longer and enjoy the area. Many thanks to Thierry and his team. We stopped at Le Parc on our way to Switzerland, and found it to be delightful. The owner, Thierry, was charming and very helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. I would agree with previous reviewers that it's not the easiest place to find by Satnav, but Hermonville is not so big.
We had a superb meal at the Mets Envie restaurant, which is about 4 minutes walk away.

All in all, a fine start to our holiday ( I wish Swiss hotels were such great value !)

We spent one night on our way back to the UK. Rooms are lovely, clean and modern (with Nespresso coffee - which made me smile). Breakfast was lovely, with Thierry (the owner) on hand to see to our every need. We could not find the hotel with our GPS so make sure you know where it is on a old school map (paper) - however a phone call later and Tierry arrived on his bicycle with a big grin and happily showed us the way. We arrived during a heat wave so a fan would have been nice (I'm sure that had we asked, one would have been available).

My mom and I stayed with Thierry for 3 nights of magical Bliss. This location is beautiful, each room feels very private and has its own porch overlooking the park and Chateau next door. It feels so at one with nature; you wake up with the birds singing and large trees overhead. The room was quite comfortable, and the common room was also incredible. He had snacks and champagne/wine from local growers available for purchase, which was quite convenient. There was also a mini fridge in the room and one night we sat on our porch and ate baguette, drank champagne, and local meats from the store in the town square.

The location is quite convenient from Reims if you have a car, and very convenient to the town square by walking. The town itself if quite beautiful. There is also one of (according to the locals) best restaurants in Champagne located in the town, Mets Envies, and we ate there twice out of enjoyment of the food and proximity.

Thierry made a fantastic breakfast, and possibly the best, freshest eggs we had in france. He was so kind and was quite knowledgeable about the area. He sent us off on a day trip that was probably my favorite day of my entire trip. I will be coming back someday and you should too!

Extremely quiet and comfortable with a wonderful host Thierry who was extremely helpful with tips on where to visit in the Champagne region. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of local produce. Would highly recommend staying here.
