Description: WelcomePoderi Crisci Vineyard and Winery, set in a stunning amphitheatre surrounded by vines and olive trees, has fast become the quintessence of what in Italy is called: Agroturismo. Located 30 minutes from Matiatia in Awaawaroa Bay, Poderi Crisci occupies 7.7 hectares of north-facing slopes in the heart of Waiheke’s unique wine growing microclimate. The narrow rocky strip underlying Poderi Crisci is believed to be 30 million years older than the rest of the Island, boasting soil criss-crossed with mineralised veins. For four generations the Crisci family has been immersed in food and wine, Antonio born and raised in Napoli came to NZ in early 1990 and established Toto Restaurant in Nelson Street . With his partner Vivienne Farnell they opened Non Solo Pizza, an institution in Parnell in 1997 and Bar Vino in 2009.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to secure a place last Sunday for the 11 Course degustation. We love Italian food and this was at it's best.

Beautiful presented matched excellently with the Vineyards wines. Truly a delight.
The staff were knowledgeable and explained both the courses and matching wines eloquently. Priced very well.

Take the chance to wander the gardens as they provided a nice opportunity to meander and see the products we were eating.

Had an amazing lunch today. The entrees we shared and two of our party had the tuna. This was possibly the best tuna dish I have had - on a bed of cannelonni beans and other vegetables and herbs. To finish it off, we had an amazing pannacotta placed on a very thin pineapple slice. Stunning location, stunning gardens and just a simply lovely experience

We celebrated my daughters 25th birthday at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing... We were there for the Sunday long lunch, which was definitely worth it! The owners and staff make you feel like you are part of their family and it feels like you are sitting down to a home cooked meal at their house. It was a rainy day but if felt warm and cosy. The atmosphere was festive and fun. The food was excellent, and the wine just as good!

I did not appreciate how far the taxi ride from Oneroa to PC was (a $70 cab ride!!), then out of the darkness along the dirt road the lights of the farmhouse appear around a corner. Poderi has the feel of dining in a Tuscan farmhouse kitchen, the roaring fire, the friendly personal service, but the food was delicious combining a rustic simplicity with fine dining touches. The degustation menu was well balanced, easy paced and very satisfying. The staff even organised our taxi back to town afterwards. I highly recommend eating here, it is a tiny piece of Italy less than an hour from Auckland city

We had the best dinner here, such a beautiful setting, the best service and delicious Italian / Mediterranean menu. Will definitely come again and recommend to others. We raved about the food and service all night!
