We were told it was the biggest hotel in Bac Ha and it looked quite impressive on the outside. However, the inside of the hotel was so badly designed:

- Location of the card slot (to turn on the electricity supply in the room) is located at the far end of the wall.
- The high ventilation windows of the toilets of some rooms opened into the corridor. Hence there is a bad smell in the corridor sometimes.
- There is a pillar directly in front of the WC.

The telephone and TV were out of order. The only cupboard in the room was bursting with additional quilts and could not be closed properly. The only good thing about the room was that it was big enough to accommodate 3 super-single beds.

A plus point for the hotel is its location. As it is situated along the main road leading to the famous Bac Ha Sunday Market, it is a good spot to watch the “parade” of villagers making their way to the market with their animals and other wares.

Stayed: October 2017

The rooms are very basic and outdated but clean. The room has a tv, fan and a private bathroom with toilet and bath. The included breakfast is in buffet form and is also very basic. The staff was not very friendly and helpful.

Since there are not many hotels in Bac Ha, you probably do not have much choice.

The reception without any hospitality. Everywhere dirt, we first had to request that the bathroom was to be cleaned. The bed hard not near western stile, the beding partially dirty. The cussion smelly. The breakfast terrifying with the exeption of the soup procured in a nearby restaurant.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel.

We had a nice experience in this hotel, room was not very big, but decently clean as well as the bathroom, air-con working properly (even as a heater, it was cold when we were there !), no problems with hot water.
Honest breakfast and nice food at dinner, nothing to complain about.
Staff willing to help, even though little English was spoken, good massage, even though the room was a little bit cold. Our room was in the old area, but it was ok for our one night stay for Bac Ha Sunday market (which was stunning)
