We were told it was the biggest hotel in Bac Ha and it looked quite impressive on the outside. However, the inside of the hotel was so badly designed:
- Location of the card slot (to turn on the electricity supply in the room) is located at the far end of the wall.
- The high ventilation windows of the toilets of some rooms opened into the corridor. Hence there is a bad smell in the corridor sometimes.
- There is a pillar directly in front of the WC.
The telephone and TV were out of order. The only cupboard in the room was bursting with additional quilts and could not be closed properly. The only good thing about the room was that it was big enough to accommodate 3 super-single beds.
A plus point for the hotel is its location. As it is situated along the main road leading to the famous Bac Ha Sunday Market, it is a good spot to watch the “parade” of villagers making their way to the market with their animals and other wares.More
