We enjoyed the hide-away style cabin rooms. They were comfortable, large, and clean, no AC but a nice big fan and evenings were cool anyway.
When we tried to go to dinner, we were told they would not serve us because they had a big group already there. Same thing happened the next morning, no food service. We had to go out to the Fernwood for dinner and a nice little restaurant down the street for breakfast.
Shame on them for charging such high prices and non-existent food service.
We spoke to the guest services manager who apologized and gave us a room discount that was a nice thing to do. We recommend this if you want a "woodsy" atmosphere and you can plan to eat elsewhere.More
