We got married at this resort 3 years ago in May 2018 and finally got the chance to come back just as a married couple, not with a group. A few things to note:
1. Customer Service was amazing as the 1st time. So many staff I can’t name them all but Ricardo (privilege pool), Angel (swim up bar), Gustavo, Jorge, Jesus, and Luis (restaurant staff), Clarissa (butler) we’re stand outs.
2. Food and drinks - this is the biggest reason we came back and we weren’t disappointed at all! By far best food of all locations we’ve been to in Jamaica, Mexico, and Punta Cana. Restaurants were open on rotation but that didn’t bother us at all.
3. Cleanliness - the resort did feel a little more dated, but I can imagine it’s hard to maintain the upkeep during the pandemic. Power went out a few times in our room for brief moments, A/C wasn’t as strong as we remember before.
4. Entertainment - everything was done by 11pm because of the pandemic, but the shows were still pretty good. Entertainment team always tried to encourage participation in daily activities.

We had one of the best moment at this hotel with my friends. The staff is awesome here, every one is smiling all the time and assures that you spend a good time. Big thank you to Juan (favorite barman of all time) that is here to recommend very nice drinks. And thanks again to the animation team (hola Mauricio, Yvan, and Alejandro) that was always on top.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel.
The room was nice and clean, the food good and Juan is the best and nicest barman !
It was a very nice vacation with friends and the entertainment team was very energetic.

We have a wonderful week thanks to all the staff ! Even with the covid and all the restrictions, all the animation team ( Ivan, Mauricio, Alejandro) and Juan from the bar were wonderful. Thanks again !

This is our third time here and we’ve always loved it, but will likely not return. We understand they need to cut costs due to COVID, but food and beverage safety should not be one. We had a lot of people here (majority locals from Cancun) and many got sick.

The staff was great, as always. We were worried about the reviews on the rooms being warm, but ours were good. But… in 2 of 3 rooms, the thermostat wasn’t working when we arrived. We had to call a few times then go to the desk to get it fixed, but once they replaced the thermostat, the rooms were great.

Buffet location is always warm. It never gets cool and used to always be cold. Mexican restaurant was great, villa marina was great, the kids loved Route 66. Sensai is a fun time but food quality has gone down.

The kids and adults loved bowling!

Very fun place for the kids, but after so many people ended up sick, no one wants to return. I hope this issue gets fixed as I did mention it to the hotel F&B concierge.
