I had the good fortune of spending two nights at this beautiful inn in a room with a king bed. From my window and little balcony, I could see the falls, the trees, and the sunset. Rooms are large, bed is comfortable, in-room coffee maker has its own sink and real cream in mini fridge.
Bathroom has everything you need to clean and preen, like separate shower and bath tub, full length mirror, make up mirror with light (watch out, you may see wrinkles you don't want to know you have!), cotton balls, make up remover towelette, even little rubber ducky, as well as the usual towels, hair dryer and soap products.
Wifi and long distance calls in North America are free! There is an in-house a spa, dining room service with good food, a bar on main floor, and hiking trails nearby. Only 14 rooms at the inn, but the place feels bigger. These are green accommodations (important to me) so energy conservation, recycling, and bio-degradable laundry products are used.
This is not a chic, sleek, spanking new cosmopolitan address. But it is a five-star luxury inn with all the amenities, perfectly placed in beautiful rural Ontario. The falls are charming, though rather small. In Autumn, the trees must be breathtakingly sumptuous with colour. I can't imagine a more idyllic and indulgent way to spend a weekend.
