Beautiful property, we stayed in villa... It was a wonderful experience as a family of 9...amazing bird watching... Huge space... N very neat... Chef makes sure the food matches your tastes...Himani (relationship manager) is very helpful.

Nestled in the heart of a coffee plantation in the Western Ghats, relaxing af

This place is a pure delight to stay at. Every inch of it has been designed and landscaped to be pleasing to the eye and relaxing to the mind.

If you stay in one of the suites, you wake up to a view of the western ghats and can drink tea / coffee while enjoying a spectacular sunset from your balcony.

If you stay at a villa, you will wake up to the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves -- cradled in a particularly well-managed forest with splashes of colour from well-chosen plants.

If this isn't enough for you, there's plenty of activities to keep you busy! Air-rifle shooting, horseback riding, petting zoo / dairy farm, bird watching, swimming, golf, guided tour of the plantation, or just a walk on the enormous property.

I stayed here for just two nights, so I want to come back for a longer stay!

Note for travellers: the resort opened just 5-6 months ago, and the golf course is still under construction. I've been told that a Croquet set is also going to be available.

Room tip: Suites have a great view of the mountains and the sunrise, villas are nested in forest beauty.

Excellent resort. Will be back.

Had the most amazing 3 days at the resort. Loved the rooms and the view from our room. Great value money. The staff was very welcoming helpful and attention. Special thanks to Himani Monga, the manager who was extremely sweet, made us feel comfortable and was helpful with whatever was needed and made our stay pleasant and memorable. One suggestion would be to add AC to the rooms as it got too hot at night.

A piece of heaven nestled in the dense forests of coorg!

As my title goes,this new resort is reallly majestic at the same time cosy ,placing you right in the middle of the lovely coorg forests making sure,you really do not have to step outside the resort to experience the general beauty and awe of coorg. What made our stay extra special were the staff members,managers of the resort.Miss Himani Monga (guest relation manager) went out of her way to make sure our stay was not just pleasant but memorable ..she made sure we experienced every inch of what thier resort could offer esply by upgrading us to thier 1bhk villa! The owners should be proud to have someone like her managing thier guests!! Thanks so much Himani!! You made our goodbye very very difficult. A special mention to Mr.Muthu qnd Mr Vinay too for being extremely helpful. Miss Anjula and Mr Priyabarath made the dining experience just fabulous..full marks to the chef for lipsmacking food..really a 5 star experience!
The activities such as the shooting range and watching thier farm animals was a delight for the kids!! Amazing mini theatre too..just like an original movie theatre...
I will reallly miss our morning/evening walks in the coffee/pepper plantation.
Being a frequent traveller,i would definately recommend this wonderful resort to experience coorg and its beauty !!

Awesome

It was an amazing staycation at Montrose and i would say everything was just perfect. I really give this resort highest rating because they have managed to get all important parameters right: value for money accomodation, unique and stunning location, excellent food . Service levels are exceptionally high with an unusually high level of consistency across all departments, and great attitude of staff. Himani deserves to be mentioned specially as she ensured our stay was perfect from start till end.

The food quality and kitchen also holds hight standard and ensured a real interesting fusion of local cousine along with quality continental dishes. we are really happy with our stay here and coming back! and its ideal for people who wish to have a unique experience of nature, and great infrastructure at the same time.
