We came to Todak Waterfront not knowing what we will find. Googled seafood and a few names popped up. To our surprise there was a stretch of eating stalls selling the similar, FRESH SEAFOOD. From lobsters to mysterious shelfishes, there was just an array of seafood.
So how do we choose the best place to eat at? Honestly, we chose the crowd, and the number of tables and chairs they have.. prices were competitive so we looked for the freshest.. which is also a problem for us because all were still fresh. After asking and walking around (almost all the stalls) we finally chose Gerai Fadzwina.
We got the crabs cooked Kam Heong style, Cuttlefish barbequed with sambal, Butter Tiger prawns, Fried Seabass cooked tiga rasa(3 flavours) and Kailan vegetable. All of them tasted delicious! Our most favourite of them all was the Crabs cooked kam heong style as it was a new taste but yet familar... The fish was the freshest we have eaten in a long time. And the way they cooked it ensured we had the best texture a fish could give.
The overall experience was good. You would expect some soliciters and kids selling fruits (which we bought some) but its all part of the experience. This is a better place to eat than at the filipino market. Clean and fresh.
