Just got back from a wonderful weeks stay at palm oasis.
This is the best apartment we have stayed in, it’s very clean with a well equipped kitchen and large balcony with dining table and chairs for 4 with 2 sun loungers.
It’s in a great location with onsite shop which we didn’t find too expensive selling food and beer for €0.80 per can 330ml, inflatable toys for €8 which was cheaper than the local spar shop which is a short walk 10 mins.
Taxi from apartment to Maspalomas beach €4.50 would probably take about 40 minus to walk.
We had such a lovely time we have booked again for April and June next year.
Thank you palm oasis

Well what can I say this is given 4* but it's deffo worth a 5* it's amazing rooms were excellent clean and very large it's the biggest balcony/terrace I've ever had bed lovely bathroom beautiful with a jacuzzi bath all kitchen appliances!!! The swimming pools are stunning a spa jacuzzi outside sun beds lovely the setting is stunning and very well looked after!!! There is a supermarket onsite although it sells most stuff it's more expensive just over the road about a 10 min walk is a spar supermarket but we had a car and drove to Aldi which was a 10 min drive!!! On the car note excellent parking in the underground secure car park for only €2 a day could not fault this place one bit!!! We had breakfast once on the last day which was lovely and lots to choose from!!! So can't comment on the food!!! But just outside is a fabulous Chinese and another restaurant a bit further down which was stunning and reasonably priced!!! This is 5* all the way!!!

I booked a week here on an exchange with Interval international, the timeshare exchange company and was very, very pleased with the quality of the 1 bedroom apartment number 340.It has panoramic views over Maspolomas from its balcony and rooftop terrace. The apartment was well equipped and spacious and was scrupulously cleaned daily by the friendly maid.
As other reviewers have said the grounds of the resort are beautiful and the pool area is one of the best I have ever seen.
A half board package was available but we prefer to self cater preparing simple breakfasts and lunches and then trying different restaurants in the evening.
The resort shop was useful for milk etc but the nearby supermarkets were slightly cheaper and offered a greater choice.
There is a shuttle service to the beach during the day.We walked to the lighthouse in about 30 minutes but a taxi is only 4 or 5 euros anyway.
I had not visited Gran Canaria for nearly 20 years and was amazed at the amount of development but I guess that was inevitable given it's fantastic climate.Playa del inglés is a tacky, over commercialised resort with bars catering for British,Germans and Dutch. In the Yumbo centre the bars were predominantly gay but at least they appeared to be multi-national!
The bars and restaurants to the right of the lighthouse (as you face the sea) are more sophisticated and attract a smarter, international clientele.

Arrived back from 12 days staying at this beautiful hotel this morning. Fantastic setting in stunning Mediterranean gardens, fantastic pools with plenty of seating. Rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very surprised this hotel doesn't have a higher official star rating as it is by far nicer than all 4* I have stayed at previously. For the price you get fantastic value for money. Although not located near the beach, being set back in the hillside provides great views of both sea and mountains. Would thoroughly recommend
