My wife and I have stayed here a year ago but decided to return with our three kids for the weekend which turned out well. You can choose between parking in the vicinity of the hotel in the streets (green areas are cheaper than red areas) or you can decide on using the hotel parking which is a few blocks from the hotel and not that expensive.
We had a big room with 2 separate rooms for the kids which included television and wifi. New, clean and spacious rooms with a big bathroom (bath & shower) good heating (important in the winter times at the coast) and the standard mini bar.
The hotel has various facilities like a spa and other which can be used for a fixed fee.
What reminded me from the last time I was there was the nice breakfast which we all enjoyed once again. Do consider checking this hotel out when you are planning a few days in Nieuwpoort.

Positives: An extremely comfortable bed made for 2 excellent nights sleep which was most welcome. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The continental breakfast was plentiful and well presented with beautifully fresh bread and rolls. All staff were courteous and most helpful. Easy access for wheelchairs. Good location close to the beach and main shopping street which has an abundance of excellent clothes & shoe shops, and shops with an amazing array of delicious foods of every type. The cakes in the bakery next door have to be seen (and tasted) to be believed!

Negatives: One big criticism is that there is no residents lounge or anywhere to relax or sit quietly and read a book, or whatever.
There is no mirror above the dressing table so drying of hair has to be done blind.
The wet room was a nice size but, beware, the floor gets slippery when wet.
Typical of continental hotels, there are no tea/coffee making facilities.

Others: Food in the restaurant Comilflo was nice enough. My tip: "go one, or even two, more" when ordering a steak - medium is very rare (at least ours were!)
Food in the brasserie attached to the hotel is adequate but there are ample nice eateries nearby.

Despite the negatives, I would certainly use this hotel again.

Our experience of the hotel itself was very positive - it's excellent value and I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious and clean out room was. The breakfast was very good - lots of options and tasted great.

Our only issue was that we booked this hotel because they said they has secure bicycle storage in their garage. It turned out their garage had not front, so you'd still need to bring decent locks. It was more of a shelter than a garage, and were a bit nervous about it's security. We were a little frustrated this wasn't made clear to us - and it was very hard to find it in the dark. Our bikes were fine, but if you're staying here as part of a cycle tour don't expect what you find in other hotels with bicycle facilities.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Very pleasant staff, fantastically modern hotel. Breakfast was lovely and continental. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Very close to the high street.

My only criticism is of the car park. Strange setup which involves lifts and extremely tight corners, not for the faint hearted! Also inside the lift system in confusing as different lifts are for different floors.

I aim to come here again in the future.
