Stayed there for a couple of nights during a company retreat.
Nice, spacious and quiet rooms. Some are newly renovated and they do have rooms in different styles. From rustic franconian to modern as is the hotel. It too has various and different looking sections although always more or less dominated by the cozy franconian style.
The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere and an individual transport is imperative.
Facilities for meetings are more than sufficient, nothing to complain.
Personnel is trying all to make you feel comfortable.
Most worth to mention is the food. Classy and hearty franconian fare expertly prepared by the owner chef. Breakfast buffet is vast, with changing fresh items every morning.
There was only one thing I disliked. It's the Nuremberg based Tucher brewery beer they serve. There are definitely better ones from local breweries close by available.

We have stayed as hotel guests three times in the Landgasthof Weisses Lamm since 2011 and have eaten here more times than that, the most recent visit was September 12 when we had a long business meeting in a nearby village. I had stopped prior to the meeting and made a table reservation. The meeting lasted longer than I predicted and we were two hours late for our reservation. Still, the owner was very accommodating and we had an excellent meal, even though we were so late. The quality of the food, the prompt and friendly service and the atmosphere of an old-world pub and restaurant with lots of wood and a warm, cozy atmosphere makes this a real treasure in the Bavarian (to be more accurate, Franconian) countryside. There is a butcher shop within the premises and so one is guaranteed fresh meat at all times.

Room Tip: There are the newly renovated rooms and then there are the traditional rooms. I would spend the extra few dollars for a renovated room. This inn is perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city and to experience the countryside with many quaint towns and villages all around, including Engelthal. Also great for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, etc.

I was there with several collegues in a business trip and all of us were impressed.
The rooms were very clean, natural wood furniture and a very good morning breakfast.
If you want to visit Nurnberg and you are by car, I recommand you to stay here; it is about 30km/20minutes faraway.

This nice cousy place, near Nurnberg, has nice familty restaurant (really tasty with local food), and huge rooms.

The breakfast is great as well.

Recommended for country-side

Room Tip: 2nd floor or maybe lower, as the 3rd floor, room 25 and around have very weak Wifi reception.
