Overall great experience at this home stay, surrounded by green landscapes, hills and forests!! Especially very warm welcome by Vivek and food served was very local and great taste. I would recommend this place to families as well as couples.
Had a wonderful experience at the homestay. It is located in a village called devanahalli as shown accurately by Google. Take the mud road deviation from the mattighatta road. There are 6 rooms available. Each has a living room, bed room and an attached bathroom capable of hosting 4 people comfortably. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Food is homely and very tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a spice Plantation right behind the property. There is no TV in the room. One is expected to enjoy the natural ambience. Unchalli falls is less than an hour away and so is Yana. A perfect stay if you are in the area.
We were a family of four with 2 small kids. Sathwik homestay is a very nice homestay with nice hospitality and good food. The nature is serene and you would enjoy the calmness and beauty of it throughout your stay. Its a perfect stressbuster if you have been stressed and would want to relax and stay with nature. We enjoyed night journey from Sonda to the Homestay... excellent BSNL coverage... Roads are good... Sathwik homestay was very welcoming with spacious rooms and homely veg food was tasty... Nature best was the amazing - arecanut farm and rains. Next day after breakfast visited Yana and Vibhuti Falls as suggested by Vivek - who was very helpful for our stay and travel. Thank You !
This home stay is surrounded by trees, clean room, homely food, prompt response and nice hospitality!
Fans inside the rooms are not at proper place and Room ventilation is also ok kind of.
Overall, It is good.
