Very clean and welcoming guesthouse. The owner is a lovely friendly lady as are all the staff who are like a big family. Pema, at our request, showed us all the sights of Yuksom and told us many interesting things about its history. Breakfast was superb. Thanks for a lovely stay!

i stayed in this place and i had the chance to see how nice are the girls managing this place. the place is generally super clean and friendly. the cook is great and she cooks in front of you. food is always organic and high quality. i wish i'll come back to yuksom to come back to mama's kitchen!

Frankly i haven't tried the food. although the place looked lovely and clean. We traveled in the owners brother's car and the owner (didi) traveled with us. She is humble as most of the people at the mountains. Just want to wish Didi all the best for the endevor. Hikers give it a shot.

I dropped by Mama's Kitchen whilst in Yuksam and it looked like they were preparing for a birthday party so I asked whether they were open. They said they were and gave me doughnuts and the menu! I ordered the paneer thali and despite all the other preparations going on my meal was one of the best I had eaten in Sikkim. Everything was freshly prepared and the combination of all the dishes was so tasty. Recommend a visit if you are in Yuksam.

From the many varied delicacies served here to the people who prepare it with love and dedication, one can't help but feel truly cared and loved for as well. Where one serving is never enough and you always have space for more. Pema, the wonderful host makes the best pancakes and muffins hands down. Honestly, Mama's Kitchen lives up to to their motto of "Live Simple Eat Well Laugh Often".
