We had checked in 30th sep'17 at 4.00 pm, we had requested for drinking water but we had got the same by 6.00 pm, they treat the guest in lethargical manner, and they also insisted to buy mineral water, which they has to provide as per tariff,
Even hot water also they didn't provide for bathing on the first day, any how room space is good, restaurant is costly, and they didn't provide any camper fire activities.
Good Budget Hotel
1. Good Budget Hotel with clean and near rooms (don't expect bath towels, Dental kit etc)
2. Good parking facility (can park 10 cars)
3. Restaurant was ok. Open to public and hotel as well
4. Name sake play area.
Room: Rooms are very clean, spacious and neatly maintained.
Staffs: Staffs are gentle, prompt and helpful. Recommended.
Food: Can be improved a lot.
Location: Near to boat house , 10 minutes walkable distance.
One of the best hotel in Yelagiri for less Budget. Even though Yelagiri is considered as poor man Ooty, you may have hotel with higher prices. But hotel golden nest is a best option for budget stay

Do not expect any room service / do not expect a person in reception for 24 hr. You have a mobile number given in the reception, if requirement, need to call him
This hotel has a restaurant and a super market attached, I never seen any out door games as mentioned in their website, What i have seen if a board mentioning, Do not play cricket / football / volleyball in-front of the hotel which is very small are meant for bonfire
I liked the stay and will surely choice this option again for the price ,
Visited Yelagiri as on Day Trip with My Family with no clue of Hotel to stay - Just to relax .
Enquired couple of Hotels , But Not happy with either Atmopshere or the Heavy Pricing.
Seen the Hotel view from outside and just step in HOTEL GOLDEN NEST, the reception is good and he showed the room, i was Happy with the room neatness and said ok and the pricing what he told is Rs.1100 and that give me Surprise,because compared to other hotels what i seen it s Better.
Neat Car Parking, with Child Play Area , with small Garden, reastuarant - overall Good.
