We Were 2 couples who enjoyed the stay at this property on a Christmas Eve... What a pleasant surprise the property and the location breath taking views from the Rooms where we were staying,,, the highlight of the resort is the staff extremely friendly and take care of each and every need u ask for in a best possible way... THE BAMBOO Island, waterfall, view point , food in fact gave us a feel to visit again and again..... Swimming pool is at the best location where it is surrounded by lush green tea estate...

Room tip: Tip of the mountain rooms

Minus points

1) Service was pathetic, They didn't keep drinking water in room and if you are really thirsty you have to walk down to reception else you have to wait in room for one hour.
2) No phone is available in room to contact reception, you have to use your mobile phone to contact reception if you have network coverage
3) Rooms were not good, we could see fungus in most of the rooms
4) Keep a good torch if you go to this resort, because no lights in walking area
5) Food was not worth for money, dinner buffet was RS 400 and you can hardly find good items on the table. No chance for going out and eating as there is no hotels nearby

Plus points
1) You are staying middle of tea estate
2) Good view from rooms
3) Access to Meenmutty falls
4) Swimming pool was ok

All together it was a bad experience for us and i would neither prefer this resort nor recommend to my friends

This resort is one of the best resort I have ever been.....this resort becomes special becuase the Tea Plantation and the Waterfalls..There is lot of outdoor activity that we can we involve....Rooms are good and Clean....Views from the room great...!!When it comes to food....Lunch they provided was not that good...They provided typical kerala Veg food..but sambar was saltless and tasteles...Dinner was good..they have provided large variety of dishes for buffet...Fish Molly was awesome in that...!!!
The drawback that I noticed there was the attitude of the Staffs....They are not dat much friendly with customers...and aslo they are not suggesting activities that we can have inside the resort...We it self want to explore it....

This resort is one of the best I have ever been.....The serenity of the place is so good and I really feel that paradise as explained in the epics should be something like this resort ...the Valley view from one of the cottages in this resort is mind blowing. This is worth all the money you pay for, and you take back a very peaceful mind when you go back after your stay here....I will definitely recommend this place as a must visit place,,

Room tip: ask for the room with the valley view on the top of the hill....

I visited this place as a pilot program for my visit with family. The lovation is very good and so are the amenities. They have a river flowing on one side which we have access to and rather safe too. This is the river that leads to meenmutti falls. They have pretty good view points too. The staffs too were very cordial. I didn't taste much food from there as we went after dinner to this place. Edakkal caves is near to this. You should visit this place only if u have an entire day to spend here.. Or it is waste of time.. They offer many indoor outdoor games ..kids play area etc so that no class will be bored.. Looking forward to visit the place with family
