This was my 2nd stay at Wingston Goverdhan. But I am not satisfied with the service this time. 2nd stays are always bad!
Pros: Convenient location, neat and tidy rooms, room service guys are good, rooms are spacious.
Cons:
1) No Wi-Fi: The hotel was not able to provide me the said Free Wi-Fi even after repeated requests at hotel desk.
2) No TV recharge: They have Tata Sky in every room. When we checked in they got it recharged. But next morning, when we switched on the TV, there were no channels, because the recharge expired. Can you believe this! They recharge it for one day.
3) No Tea/Coffee Maker: Now this is bad. Common Wingston, even 2-star hotels provide this now-a-days.
4) Toiletries: They would wait for your request for free-toiletries in the morning. No hair-oil and comb provided.
Lastly, a very strange thing happened for the first time. We all check in to hotel rooms and find 2 towels in each room. We know this, very few have one towel. We had two rooms booked for 4 persons. We didn't count the number of towels. In the morning when we went for bath, we found a single towel in Room 207. We thought , okay it happens and got another towel from our other Room 208.
At check out, the hotel staff charged us for the towel. Can you believe this? For them we were towel-thief. We asked them to check our luggage. Our mistake was just one - We didnt count the linen at check-in.
Advisory: COUNT THE LINEN BEFORE YOU CHECK-IN!
