Review of Biharinath Hill

Had been Biharinath many times even when there was no existence of Biharinath Tourist Point(8017202499), the only true accommodation of Biharinath. I along with my family member had to stay at other accommodation but went Biharinath for its unique natural beauty. High hills, dense forest, water bodies, springs, river Damodar and above all most revered place of entire Rarh Bengal, the place of Lord Biharinath(Shiva) where every wish gets fulfilled. It is a salubrious place and water is panacea. But very few people are aware of this place. But one should visit the place as early as possible because once there will be a concrete bridge over river Damodar(may be a year or two), the place will be populous as many people from Asansol and Burnpur will constuct there house here.

Our team for Biharinath comprises four friends travelled to there in a WagonR on 13-15th April this year. We spent one night in "Biharinath Tourist Point" which is a private hotel and the other night in "Eco Tourism" of Forest Dept. Though we wanted to spend both nights in Eco Tourism but rooms are not available. We started our journey in the morning via NH-2, took a left turn from Raniganj Punjab More and reached there in 5 hours without much hiccup(Thanks to Google maps). It is calm place with 3-4 hotels including 01 forest dept and 01 State govt. sponsored stay. But more hotels are in making. So, please visit asap before civilization can engulf it. We went Joychandi hills, Gar panchakot and Baranti from there. All are 30-40 kms around. The roads are mostly nice. To me the best time to visit is February-March when the Palash flowers are blossomed. The best place to stay is "Biharinath Tourist Point" and dont book "Eco Tourism" by Forest Dept. which is awefully maintained. One can stay one night at Baranti also.

Biharinath is just awesome.I have no idea about Biharinath until I noticed the advt of Biharinath Tourist Point(033-69547111/8017202499), the only perfect accommodation here in a magazine.I searched about Biharinath in web and mostly I collected information from Trip Advisor. Just reaching the place I was bewildered and was thinking why most of the Kolkata Travelers were not aware of this place. it is also very true that if it becomes as much popular as Digha then what we find today at Biharinath will be missing with crowd and chaos. Biharinath offers Hills/Dense forest with abundant flora & Fauna/ Valley/ water bodies/River Damodar/renowned temple of Lord Shiva where every wishes are getting fulfilled.
